Welcome to Holt Medical Practice

The doctors and staff of Holt Medical Practice aim to provide a wide range of healthcare and the information on this website will help you to make the best use of the services offered.
We are a Personal Medical Services (PMS) Practice and part of a One Stop Primary Care Service based on the Kelling Hospital site. This means that we deliver health care alongside other community staff including Community Nurses, Health Visitors, Therapists and other professions allied to medicine and voluntary agencies. We also give medical cover to Community beds located on the site.

We are also the main reception for Kelling Hospital.

Our patients can expect courteous and attentive care, in confidential surroundings. You may expect an explanation of your treatment and condition.

We ask patients to use the services in a thoughtful way, mindful of others needs.

IMPROVEMENT TO TELEPHONE ACCESS - From November 2010

We shall be using an auto attendant on our phone system In order to improve patient access.  This will give you a small number of options to choose from when ringing the surgery.  We intend to keep the number of options low so as not to annoy people!

This new system will provide quicker access to our services especially when reception lines are engaged during busy times of the day.

Please note that the dispensary repeat prescriptions order numbers will remain the same.

If you have any concerns, please contact the Practice Manager who will be happy to talk to you.

The 4 options you will be given are:-

Press number 2 - for Dispensary Queries

Press number 3 - for Medical Secretaries and to leave a message for a Doctor.

Press number 4 - for Nurse Administration and blood test results (after 11am)
