COVID CLINICS @ HOLT

All patients 75yrs and over AND eligible 18 – 74yr olds (who are immunosuppressed) will be invited to Holt Surgery to have their vaccine at one of our Covid vaccination clinics. These clinics will be held on:

If you are unable to attend on these two dates, you can book to have your vaccination elsewhere via the National Booking System.

  • Patients without a registered mobile number will be sent a letter directing them to book via our Vaccination Booking Line which will live from Tuesday 18th March, and will be open Mon – Fri, 2pm until 5pm. Patients should call 01263 712461 and select Option 8. This line will be closed on Bank holidays and at weekends.
  • Appointment Times – will be individual and staggered to ensure a steady flow.
  • Parking – there will be marshals outside the Surgery to show you where to park and there will be reserved disabled parking close to the entrance.
  • Dress – patients need to make sure they wear appropriate clothing to allow your upper arm to be easily accessed.

Care Home and Housebound Patients

The Surgery will ensure that all care home residents and housebound patients (75 and over or otherwise eligible) are offered the Covid vaccination. It is likely that we will provide vaccines to care home residents and housebound patients from early April. We will contact our homes and all eligible housebound residents as soon as we know the dates we will be visiting.

Clinically housebound means someone is unable to leave their home without significant assistance or effort due to a physical or psychological condition. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a home visit to those without transport, we would recommend contacting Holt Area Caring Society (HACS) well in advance of your appointment.

Household contacts are no longer eligible for a Spring vaccination.

Which Vaccine will it be?

We are expecting to receiev SpikeVax (Moderna) however the vaccine we are provided with can change at any point during the campaign depending on available supply.

SHINGLES, PNEUMONIA & RSV

We will invite eligible patients to have these vaccines directly. It will not be given at the same time as the Flu and Covid vaccine. For further information please visit the vaccinations page.
