Practice Information

Due to COVID-19 we have temporarily stopped all appointments and medication collections from Melton Constable Surgery which is now closed. This is designed to protect staff and patients from unnecessary travel and contact. For patients that would usually collect their medication from Melton, we are offering a temporary delivery service direct to their house. Patients should continue to order their prescription in the usual way, keeping Melton as their collection point. From Monday 6th April, the Delivery Drivers will all be existing or previous employees of the Surgery OR volunteers supplied by North Norfolk District Council. They will all be wearing photo ID. If Melton patients would prefer to collect their medication instead of having it delivered they need to call the Surgery on 01263 712461 (choosing Option 2) and we will make their medication available for collection at Holt.

Due to supply issues, please allow 7 working days for repeat prescriptions to be processed.

We are limiting all avoidable footfall into the Holt, Melton and Blakeney Surgery to protect our patients and staff. Where possible, consultations will be carried out on the telephone. All requests for face to face appointments will be screened by a Receptionist who will ask you questions. All patients seeking entry to the Surgery will be screened for COVID symptoms on arrival. If you feel your appointment is no longer necessary please telephone the surgery to let us know, as the extra capacity would be useful. Thank you for your help and understanding during this difficult time.

If you have a fever or a new continuous cough you should visit 111 online and self-isolate for 7 days. Please do not come to the Surgery. We are doing all we can to continue to provide a primary care service for all our patients.
